No Christmas for Madonna

Madonna refuses to celebrate Christmas and give gifts to her children.

Madonna has refused to celebrate Christmas ever since she converted to the Kabbalah, a mystical religion which is a version of Judaism. Her husband, Guy Richie, explained that his wife refuses to give presents to her three children–Rocco, 7, David, 2, and Lourdes, 11.

Richie, a 39-year-old director, revealed this information at the London premiere of the movie Fred Clause yesterday. Richie explained, "We cancelled Christmas two years ago in our household. Once we cancelled it we stopped all the presents, and once we stopped all the presents we started enjoying ourselves more."

Followers of the Kabbalah do not celebrate any holidays. They do not believe that Jesus was the son of God. In 2006, Madonna, 49, who adopted the Hebrew name Esther, revealed that she had given $2.4 million to support the Kabbalah.
