No Doubt To Sell Their Own Tickets

The band No Doubt will be selling tickets themselves for their upcoming tour, because they say Ticketmaster is too greedy.

The band recently announced their upcoming North American tour, and are now persuading tour producers to allow them to sell tickets for their shows from their own Web site.

The first 10% of the tickets will be reserved for members of the No Doubt Fan Club.  Those tickets will include the best seats in the house, and will be sold directly to No Doubt fans, bypassing Ticketmaster.

"The impetus is to have people who want to be in the building to be the people buying the tickets — not speculators. We’ve done it before and it works," said the band’s manager, Jim Guerinot.

Ticketmaster is currently facing two lawsuits for overcharging on service fees.
