According to IOL, Hilton was photographed by a number of photographers who caught something extra in their pictures. Apparently, the Simple Life star was searching through her handbag when she inadvertently revealed a plastic bag with what looked to be cannabis inside.
The hotel chain heiress denies that she was carrying cannabis, and insists that the bag contained tobacco.
A spokesperson for Hilton quickly responded to the speculation of drug use that followed. Elliot Mintz explained, "I just want to get something clear. It was tobacco."
