No easy ride for Michael Jackson’s kids

Ever-present bodyguards make it hard for the King of Pop’s children to make friends at school.

Two of Michael Jackson’s kids started school for the first time. Prince Michael, 13, and Paris, 12, were previously home schooled and now attend Buckley School in California’s San Fernando Valley. However, full-time bodyguards are also along for the ride.

They reportedly escort the kids to class, to their lockers and keep a close eye over their charges during lunch. This makes it difficult for the Jackson kids to make new friends.

A parent of one of the students told the PopEater gossip site: "The bodyguard situation really is a bit intimidating to other kids. And that makes them hesitant to approach Prince and Paris."

The late King of Pop’s mother, Katherine Jackson, is now the children’s legal guardian. She relented and allowed the kids to go to school after Uncle Jermaine Jackson convinced her it was a good idea.

Michael Jackson’s third child, Prince Michael II, a.k.a. Blanket, 8, is very shy and is still being home schooled at the Jackson compound.
