No Hard Liquor Served At Moscow Airports

Several establishments at Moscow’s airports violated the law by serving drinks containing more than 15% alcohol.

Bars and restaurants in Moscow airports are no longer allowed to sell liquor to their customers.

The law clearly states that these establishments are not allowed to serve customers drinks containing more than 15% alcohol. After an inspection, several places were found to be in violation of this law.

The Russian newspaper, Vendomosti, reports that Moscow authorities have given them 60 days to comply to the law. If not, they will be forced to close their doors for three months.

This law was established to reduce incidents on airlines that may occur when Russian passengers are under the effects of alcohol.

Each year in Russia, 500 000 people die because of alcohol.
