According to Britain’s Grazia magazine, the Mission: Impossible star and his fiancee, Katie Holmes, have been enjoying their time with their new daughter, who was born last April. No pictures of the baby have been released in the media.
Cruise, 43, has been keeping his baby away from the cameras as a directive from the Church of Scientology, which believes that children should not be exposed to the media.
Friends close to the actor say, "Tom insists he’ll do it in his own time. He won’t be bullied into showing his world his precious angel. Tom wants to obey Scientology rules about keeping babies out of the public eye."
The superstar is an active member of the controversial religion, which was founded by science-fiction writer Ron Hubbard.
As part of the Church’s beliefs, Holmes, 27, also delivered the baby in complete silence.
