FemaleFirst reported that Kylie Minogue was devastated that her world tour had to be cancelled because of worries about her health.
The singer fought breast cancer and was planning a series of concerts for her 40th birthday next year, but doctors advised that this may not be beneficial to her health.
Minogue declared, "The tour is not going to happen, it is far too soon. I can’t do it next year. It kind of breaks my heart because that is what I’m in this business for. Not being able to go ahead with my plans is a real downer. Every woman has to face up to new priorities, near the top is health. I take my health very seriously but not obsessively."
In May 2005, Minogue needed to cut her Showgirl tour short because she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She now accepts that her health needs to come before her career.
