Noel Gallagher feels ”uncomfortable” with male celebrities releasing their own clothing lines.
The ‘If I Had A Gun’ hitmaker – whose estranged brother Liam Gallagher has the Pretty Green label – believes it is an acceptable sideline for female stars but can’t understand why men would want to be involved in fashion.
He said: ”I find the whole clothing range thing, in regards to men, a bit uncomfortable. You should leave that kind of s**t to the girls, do you know what I mean?
”Girls should have their own labels to sell their own perfume, do their own knickers and all that s**t. I’ve never even understood men going shopping together. What the f**k is that all about?”
The 44-year-old rocker also hates being asked about his own wardrobe choices and can’t stand men discussing fashion.
He added to NME magazine: ”Men discussing clothes together? Even that’s wrong. The worst thing anybody can say to me is, ‘Oh, where did you get those jeans?’ F**k off! Mind your own f***ing business!
”It’s the kind of thing that’s crept into society these days where men say to other men, ‘F***ing hell mate, you look well.’ What does that mean? What are you supposed to say to that? It f***ing drives me absolutely mad.”
