Noel Gallagher of Oasis confirmed that he will be releasing a solo album, reports NME.com.
The guitarist also said that he hoped the four band members could take on their own solo endeavours after their album, Dig Out Your Soul, is released. He said, "I’d like for us to do separate projects after this record."
Last year, Gallagher told NME.com that he had gathered enough new songs to make a solo album.
