Noel Gallagher has rubbished claims Oasis will reunite in 2014.

The 46-year-old musician has slammed rumours suggesting the rock band – which split in 2009 – will reform next year to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’, but admits he might consider it if he was broke.

Speaking to talkSport presenter Andy Goldstein, Noel said: ”Maybe people keep thinking if they say it, it will eventually happen. It’s not going to happen. Unless they’re doing it without me, but without me it would be rubbish.

”One can never say never, because one might be skint. But I’ve got no intention. I’m not interested.”

However, Noel’s brother and former Oasis front man, Liam, said at Glastonbury this summer that a reunion could be on the cards if the ”musical Gods want it to happen.”

The band was forced to part ways when Noel walked out following a disagreement backstage with his sibling, which resulted in Liam smashing up Noel’s guitar, three years ago.

Liam went on to form Beady Eye with his former bandmates, while Noel launched a solo career.
