Celine Dion received six nominations for the 2008 Junos, which will be broadcast April 6 on CTV. Avril Lavigne, Feist and Michael Bublé each had five nominations.
Arcade Fire, Finger Eleven and Blue Rodeo have three nominations. Pascale Picard is a new artist who is in the Artist of the Year category alongside Celine Dion, Feist and Michael Bublé.
Celine Dion nabbed two nominations in the Album of the Year category for her albums Taking Chances and D’Elles. She is competing against Michael Bublé (Call Me Irresponsible), Feist (The Reminder) and Avril Lavigne (The Best Damn Thing) in this category.
In the Juno Fan Choice Award the nominees are Celine Dion, Avril Lavigne, Michael Bublé, Nelly Furtado and Claude Dubois.
There will be performances by Finger Eleven, Anne Murray, Michael Bublé, Feist, Avril Lavigne, Anne Murray and Measha Brueggergosman. The host for the 2008 Junos will be Russell Peters.
