Now Magazine Votes for Radiohead

Kid A by Radiohead was chosen as Now magazine’s album of the decade.

In the current sprint towards the new decade, each day is not complete without the emergence of a different round-up list, and Now magazine has published their top 10 albums list of the decade.

Resonating with Rolling Stone‘s top pick earlier this week, Now crowned Radiohead’s Kid A as the best record of the decade.

In second position, we find an album from another genre, Jay-Z’s The Blueprint, and Is This It by The Strokes follows in 3rd, although the album placed first on NME magazine’s list. Rolling Stone also listed The Strokes album in 2nd position behind Kid A.

At number four, the first of two Canadian groups to land on the Now list claims its props for Funeral, the debut album by Montreal group Arcade Fire, who also ranked 6th according to Rolling Stone.

The fifth position goes to M.I.A. for her 2005 album, Arular. Next on the list is the disc You Forget It in People by Broken Social Scene, another Canadian band holding the fort at 6th.
