For several months, songs from the most recent Radiohead album The King of Limbs have been remixed by a host of artists. The resulting songs have been sold, one at a time, on the group’s website.
Next week, Radiohead will celebrate the release of the full remix album TKOL RMX 1234567 by streaming a live DJ set via The Boiler Room next Tuesday, October 11, from around 8pm UK time (3:00 pm to 6:00 pm ET).
Frontman Thom Yorke will be DJ-ing, along with Jamie XX, Caribou, Lone and Illum Sphere, who are all featured on the album.
Set for release October 10, TKOL RMX 1234567 is a CD compilation which collates all 19 of the 12” remixes that have been released throughout the summer.
