In the film, Janey (Bosworth) takes refuge with a farming family after the suicide of her grandfather. When a son of the family tries to rape her, she fights back, severely wounding the man. While on the run, she meets Ricky (Bloom), who is also on the run from the law, and the two are soon being chased by hit men. Janey and Ricky then travel cross-country trying to keep one step ahead of their pursuers.
Production for the project is set to begin in mid-July in Oklahoma and New Mexico.
