Orlando Bloom new face of Hugo Boss fragrance

Handsome British actor stars in new Hugo Boss Orange ad campaign.

After five long months of waiting, fashion house Hugo Boss has finally unveiled its newest ad campaign featuring Orlando Bloom. The 33-year-old British actor is the face of Boss Orange, the new fragrance for men, reports Coco Perez.

Photographed by Steven Klein, a tousle-haired Bloom is posed lounging on a brown leather chair, dressed casually in a black T-shirt and jeans.

With its British superstar casting, the men’s fragrance follows in the footsteps of Boss Orange for women, launched in 2009 with English actress Sienna Miller fronting the ad campaign.

Hugo Boss is a German fashion house specializing in high-end fashion for men and women. Operating out of the German city of Metzingen, the brand is available in over 110 different countries, though the new Boss Orange fragrance will be only available in Europe.

It was first revealed this summer that Bloom would be modelling for the new ad campaign. "Boss Orange is a brand I immediately identified with because it has a laid back, spontaneous quality I relate to," said Bloom during July’s announcement.

Bloom first rose to fame in 2001, playing the elf-prince Legolas in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, followed by Pirates of the Caribbean in 2003. Earlier this year, he wed Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr, and the couple is currently expecting their first child.
