Orlando Bloom Plans Next Film

Actor Orlando Bloom will play a charming business man in the film An Education.

Bloom will star with Alfred Molina and Sally Hawkins, who earned a Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival for her performance in Happy-Go-Lucky, in the new feature film, reports Variety.

Emma Thompson, Olivia Williams, Peter Sarsgaard (Jarhead), "Bond Girl" Rosamund Pike (Die Another Day) and Carey Mulligan have also joined the cast.

Mulligan will play Jenny, a witty and attractive 17-year-old, whisked off her feet by an unsuitable thirtysomething (Sarsgaard), who dazzles her with the high life.

Nick Hornby wrote the screenplay based on an article by journalist Lynn Barber.  An Education, directed by Lone Scherfig, will begin filming in London in March.
