According to Contactmusic, the artist wants to have a plan in case his Hollywood roles stop.

Regardless of his current success, Bloom wants to be ready if his acting career slows down. He said, "I’d be a photographer or maybe a sculptor. I’d photograph wildlife or be a documentary photographer. I would go to war zones and stuff. I think it’s really brave and courageous but also a really hard thing to do.”
