According to the website TMZ, Lohan is receiving special treatment due to her celebrity status. Several of the other patients are said to be furious, and say that Lohan is treating the clinic as a hotel.
Additionally, the star of the films Mean Girls and Freaky Friday has been given permission to continue working on a feature film.
Last week, the 20 year-old actress left the facility for a shopping spree. While inside the centre, she is looked after by a massage therapist, a hairstylist and makeup artist.
Leslie Sloane Zelnick, the representative for Lohan, insists that her client is not receiving special treatment. Zelnick explained, "Lindsay is 100 percent not getting special treatment."
