Ozzy doesn’t rule out a Black Sabbath reunion
With his army of hardcore fans, Ozzy Osbourne could spend the rest of his career on auto-pilot. But the Prince of Darkness has no intention of fading into the night.
On the eve of the release of his 10th studio album, Scream, Ozzy gave an interview to Rolling Stone magazine. He did not rule out a Black Sabbath reunion. He said, "I love those guys — [drummer] Bill [Ward], [guitarist] Tony [Iommi] and [bassist] Geezer [Butler]. I never say never anymore because you never know what’s going to come around."
However, before such a meeting could take place with the group he helped make famous, Ozzy Osbourne will embark on a monster 18-month tour to promote his upcoming album.
Claiming to want to surprise his fans and have fun at the same time, Osbourne said: "I have such a body of work to pick from now I want to try some different songs other than Iron Man and War Pigs. I’ll always have to do Paranoid because that’s my anthem. I wouldn’t mind doing Fairies Wear Boots or something different just to see how it goes."
Scream by Ozzy Osbourne arrives in stores on June 22. The legendary musician will kick off his world tour with some shows in England, Italy and Finland the following week.
