Ozzy Osbourne Tells His Tale

Ozzy Osbourne will be releasing his autobiography this month.

According to the Daily News, the singer’s autobiography is just like the rocker; slightly brutal. "What you read here is what dribbled out of the jelly I call my brain when I asked it for my life story," explained Osbourne.

In the book, Osbourne thanks serial killer Charles Manson, whom he said had helped Black Sabbath to get a record deal. "The Manson murders were all over the telly, so anything with a dark edge was in big demand," he writes.

Osbourne also speaks about his love life, saying that he never managed to seduce beautiful women, because he didn’t want to risk offending his wife, Sharon.

The biography, entitled I Am Ozzy, will be published by Grand Central Publishing and will be on store shelves on January 25.

Last November, Osbourne was honoured by Billboard magazine with the prestigious Legend of Live award.  The award recognises an artist for his significant impact and lasting contribution to the music tour industry.  Osbourne and his wife created Ozzfest, one of the biggest rock festivals in the world.
