Pamela Anderson for precious metals

Palladium marketing group wanted ‘sexy’ image.

Palladium Alliance International – a consumer and trade group marketing jewelry made from palladium – has launched a new series of ads for the precious metal, featuring a heavily-Photoshopped Pamela Anderson, reports Coco Perez.

"I’ll try anything once – and in some cases – twice," Anderson says in the ad. "But if it weighs me down – it’s got to go. That’s why I love wearing jewelry made from palladium, the lightweight precious metal. Palladium is also naturally white, strong, sensitive to your skin and looks great on camera. Just like me."

The overly-retourched image makes the 44-year-old actress look significantly younger. Dressed in a partially transparent white gown, a flawless – and wrinkle-free – Anderson smiles into the camera.

According to the group’s website, "Palladium is one of four precious metals and is a part of the platinum group of metals. It is naturally white and durable like platinum, but significantly more affordable. Tarnish resistant, palladium can be cared for like similar precious metals.

So far, the new ad campaign includes three spokespeople, representing three qualities of the rare metal: Anderson is ‘sexy’, while Kelly Osbourne is ‘tough’ and Rose McGowan is ‘sensitive.’

"Just [finished] the most fun campaign shoot for Palladium Jewelry! thank you so much everyone @ palladium you were such great people to work w," Osbourne tweeted about her own experience.
