Pamela Love jewelry at Topshop

New York jeweler invades UK this spring.

This May, New York jeweler Pamela Love will be launching her first collection in collaboration with U.K. retailer Topshop, reports Vogue.

The retail chain has released the first images of the collection, available May 19, and  Love’s newest designs are divided into four separate collections – said to be inspired by the look of 1970s ‘gypsy rockers.’

The Dreamcatchers range will include items influenced by Native American and folk art, featuring feathers and medicine wheels. Chain & Stud takes its cue from the style of the Aztecs, with a modernized spin on traditional Mexican jewelry. Frozen Links uses metal chains and dark-colored stones to create an urban look. Hearts and Arrows, meanwhile, is softer, with antique-finish silver and girly flourishes.

While Love’s custom jewelry pieces retail for as much as $1,000 each, her Topshop collection is expected to be more affordably priced. And price won’t be the collection’s only difference.

"It’s softer," Love told Vogue back in March. "When have you seen me use hearts before?" A favorite of celebrities like Alexa Chung and Vanessa Hudgens, Love has a very particular design process for her main custom-made collection.

"We begin with an inspiration board and then move on to wax carvings and casting models in different materials. Each piece starts out by me personally hand-carving the wax model, and thanks to my amazing production team, together we make it possible to produce high-quality pieces," she revealed to Inside Source.

"As far as inspiration goes, I’m constantly inspired by traveling, symbols, magic, and different cultural traditions around the world."
