The band told Billboard.com that they have already started working on their third album. The group launched their second album on March 25 entitled Pretty. Odd.
According to guitarist Ryan Ross, a dozen songs are already in the making. They hope to go into the studio to start recording after completing their tour, which should take about a year.
According to Ross, the sound of the new album will be different. He said, "I think we’re kind of finding something we’re drawn to, and the stuff so far definitely sounds harder to place to me. I’m not really exactly sure what it sounds like — I guess sometimes that’s a good thing."
The group’s second album ranked second place on Billboard’s top 200 bestsellers after the first week of its release.
