According to IMDB, starlet Hilton has decided not to appear at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. The hotel chain heiress was not happy with the show’s script, which makes jokes about some of her celebrity friends.
The blonde star was to co-present with her new friend, Britney Spears. Hilton quit the project last Thursday, just hours before the official announcement was to happen. Spears has also taken the same decision as the star of television’s The Simple Life.
Representatives for the show have revealed that the show will go on.
Elliot Mintz, a representative for Hilton, explained, "It is my understanding that some satirical references ridiculed some of her peers. Paris did not want to say anything that could appear hurtful or embarrassing about people she knows."
