As part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of Parks Canada, the Toronto Blue Jays are hosting an overnight camp-out in Rogers Centre (formerly the SkyDome) later this month.

The $100 ticket includes admission to 100-level seats to watch the Jays take on the Houston Astros on May 21.

Earlier in the day, a street fair will take place outside by the CN Tower, with the Parks Canada anniversary celebration including live music, and appearances by ‘Anne of Green Gables’ and the new Parks Canada mascot. Visitors to the fair can dress up like Vikings, take part in historic period games, and dance to the pipes and drums.

Following the Blue Jays baseball game, event ticket holders will be invited to spread their sleeping bags upon the field for an overnight stay filled with movies and fun activities, including an outdoor concert.

A pizza dinner on Saturday and a buffet breakfast on Sunday morning are included in the ticket price, as is an autograph session with the players.
