Swayze’s spokesperson has made it clear that the actor, who is still undergoing cancer treatment, did not recently suffer cardiac arrest, contrary to what the National Enquirer had reported.
"He’s well. He’s continuing his treatment and doing very well, actually. Contrary to reports, he did not suffer a heart attack and has even gained a little weight," said his rep.
This isn’t the first time that the Dirty Dancing star has become the victim of false rumours regarding his health after his cancer diagnosis. In May, a radio station announced that Swayze had died, after which the actor suggested that the media verify their information before broadcasting.
