According to People, actor Patrick Swayze has decided to do a new television series, even though he is still being treated for cancer. The television project has just been approved by A&E and filming begins this summer.
Swayze, who is responding well to his treatment for pancreatic cancer, will be starring in the drama series The Beast, with actor Travis Fimmel.
Swayze is undergoing treatment at Stanford University Medical Center. The actor filmed a pilot for the series last December, three months before he was diagnosed with cancer.
