Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell tie the knot

Former Beatle takes his third walk down the aisle.

After four years of dating, Paul McCartney, 69, has married longtime girlfriend, Nancy Shevell, 51, in front of thirty close friends and family members at the Old Marylebone Town Hall in London on Sunday (October 9), reports Us.

The first official photo of newlyweds shows Shevell, 51, wearing a simple, stylish white wedding dress designed by her new step-daughter, Stella McCartney, who also made her father’s navy suit.

Among the wedding guests in attendance: Shevell’s son Arlen, McCartney’s brother Mike, former member of the Beatles, Ringo Starr and his wife Barbara Bach, and George Harrison’s widow, Olivia. Barbara Walters, second cousin to the bride, said afterwards: “The wedding was lovely.”

During their vows, McCartney gave his bride a Neil Lane eternity band featuring 5-carats of diamonds in a platinum setting.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds celebrated with a reception at McCartney’s home in St. John’s Wood, with guests like Kate Moss and Ronnie Woods.

The former Beatle even performed a special song for his new wife, “which brought tears to the groom’s eyes,” according to one source.

This was Paul McCartney’s third marriage. He was married to American photographer and fellow vegetarian Linda Eastman in 1969, who died of breast cancer in 1998. In 2002, he married to model Heather Mills, and they had a daughter, Beatrice, in 2003. The couple separated in May 2006, and in November 2007, McCartney began dating Shevell, an American heiress.
