McCartney and Starr, the only surviving members of the Beatles, will participate in a Webcast today (April 3) to encourage meditation in schools.
David Lynch, an American filmmaker, has created the David Lynch Foundation, which has put forth the initiative to teach at-risk youth to meditate.
The Webcast will happen today at noon EST on the David Lynch Foundation Web site.
This evening McCartney, who has practised transcendental meditation for years, will perform a benefit show at the Radio City Hall in New York. McCartney will be joined by Eddie Vedder, Moby, Sheryl Crow, Ben Harper and several other musicians. All proceeds from the events will go to the David Lynch Foundation.
