Paul McCartney solo albums completely remastered

McCartney and McCartney II are being rereleased with special bonus material.

Former Beatle Paul McCartney is reissuing his solo albums McCartney and McCartney II in deluxe, remastered editions with special bonus material, reports Spinner.

The audio has been remastered by the same Abbey Road studio technicians that tweaked the Beatles’ catalogue. The reworked version of McCartney’s Maybe I’m Amazed is streaming now.

The musician was involved in every step of the process, choosing the bonus material himself. Both albums will be available as either a two-disc CD set, or a multi-disc DVD package, which will come with expanded liner notes, film footage, bonus tracks and a book of photographs taken by McCartney and his late wife Linda.

According to a statement, McCartney II will include the "original album and single artwork, downloadable hi-res audio versions of the remastered album, an illustrated history of the making of the album, and expanded track by track information for all three audio discs plus detailed historical information on the film content."
