Paul McCartney Wants To Marry Again

After struggling through a very public divorce battle with Heather Mills, Paul McCartney still wants to be a married man.

According to Orange News, the former Beatle is about to say marriage vows for the third time.  McCartney is preparing to wed his girlfriend, Nancy Shevell.  The two began dating in 2007.

An intimate ceremony is planned for the rock star and his bride-to-be.  A source revealed, "Paul and Nancy’s relationship is rock solid and there’s no mad hurry for a wedding. Next year has certainly been mentioned as the most likely time, but neither of them want some big hoo-ha (party). It’s almost certainly going to be done very discreetly over in the U.S. and Paul would ideally like to do it without any publicity beforehand."

McCartney first became a married man in 1969, when he wed Linda Eastman.  She died of cancer in 1998, and in 2002, the singer married model Heather Mills.  They separated in 2006, and their highly-publicized divorce became official in 2008.  McCartney was forced to pay Mills roughly $38.9 million as part of the divorce settlement, in addition to child support payments for their daughter, Beatrice.

Last December, McCartney revealed that his marriage to Mills was probably one of the biggest mistakes of his life.
