Newman, a Hollywood legend, wants to make his last film for good luck, then relax at home with his wife.
The 80 year-old actor has also said that he will be ending his car racing hobby.
The 10-time Oscar nominee has not made a movie since his role along side of Tom Hanks in Road To Perdition in 2002.
Newman stated that he will probably race cars for another year.
