Rudd, who has played in Knocked Up and The 40 Year Old Virgin, will now be playing opposite Jason Segel in the DreamWorks production, I Love You, Man.
The movie will be directed by John Hamburg (Along Came Polly) and filming will begin in March. Hamburg is also doing the screenplay which tells the story of a man (Paul Rudd), who is on the verge of getting married and is looking for a friend to be his best man.
Rudd and Segel worked together on the movie Knocked Up and the upcoming movie by Judd Apatow–Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
