According to the website Starpulse, Simon, 65, and Garfunkel, 65, shared the stage of the Warner Theater in Washington, D.C. The two sang some of their hits including Bridge Over Troubled Water and Cecilia.
Simon introduced Garfunkel as his dear partner and friend. Later the singer and composer were joined by an African choir.
Simon was honoured by performances from Alison Krauss, Stephen Marley and Marc Anthony.
