The special recording is usually offered during the holiday season, however this year, it will not be distributed until February.
This year’s songs will be covers of The Who’s Love Reign O’er Me, and Rockin’ in the Free World by Neil Young. The Neil Young song was recorded during a concert in which Bono and The Edge of U2 joined them on stage.
The new recording of the song Love Reign O’er Me will be featured in the film Reign Over Me, which will be released in theatres on March 9.
Rumours are also circulating that the group is planning a concert tour.
