Corbin Bleu, who played in High School Musical, will be acting opposite Penelope Ann Miller. Miller will play Jeannette, a single mother whose son is the bread-winner in the family because of his motocross races. Jeannette is studying to be a nurse.
In addition to Bleu and Miller, Grant Langston, a champion in this sport, Sandra Echeverria, Matt Bellefleur and Madison Pettis all confirmed that they will be part of the cast.
Free Style which was originally titled, Metal Birding, has a new director, William Dear, who replaced Jeff Woolnough (Taken, Battlestar Galactica). There was no reason given by Rigel Entertainment for this last minute change.
