According to Europa Press, the Spanish stars, Cruz, 32, and Bardem, 38, have joined the cast of a Woody Allen film. The Mar Adentro star was in Barcelona promoting the film Invisibles when the news was announced.
The two stars will work together in July and August for the well-known director. Bardem discussed the project over the telephone with Allen, but hasn’t yet read the script.
Cruz and Bardem starred together in the 1992 film Jambon, Jambon.
