Actress Penelope Cruz is the new face of Lancôme ‘s advertising campaign for its autumn / winter 2010-11, reports Luxuo.com.
The actress posed on a balcony of the Hotel Crillon in a classic and elegant black dress for a shoot by Italian fashion photographer Mario Testino,
Cruz is representing Trésor, the Lancôme fragrance first launched in 1990, that has been represented by an array of iconic actresses including Isabella Rossellini and Kate Winslet.
Lancôme is re-bottling the perfume for its 20th birthday.
The bottle is now diamond-shaped with golden hues, with a cap surrounded by a ring of black crystal, in honour of the fragrance’s name.
The fragrance was created by Sophia Grojsman, who also created Eternity for Calvin Klein and Paris for Yves Saint Laurent.
The composition is the same floral and fruity blend with notes of Otto rose, Iris and peaches.
This new limited-edition Trésor will be available beginning in October.
The advertising campaign featuring Cruz will also launch mid -October.
