The actress and the successful Spanish filmmaker have already worked together on a few films (Live Flesh, All About My Mother). Cruz has so much trust in her mentor’s talent that she accepted the offer without even knowing what the films were that she’d be working on.
The first to be released from this Spanish duo’s new deal is the film Volver. The film is already in pre-production and is due to be on the big screens in 2006.
