According to the latest reports, Cruz and Bardem will tie the knot in December. Although the actress has refused to comment on her relationship with the actor, Cruz is planning a secret wedding.
"They will marry very soon, maybe even over the holidays. Since she and Javier are from Spain, she’d love to have a Spanish designer create her dream gown," a source told In Touch Weekly.
The star is currently searching for the perfect designer, and many believe that Cruz will hire someone from the House of Balenciaga, founded by Cristobal Balenciaga of Spain.
Another Hollywood star, Salma Hayek, recently wore a House of Balenciaga design for her walk down the aisle. When Hayek married millionaire François-Henri Pinault, she wore a dress by Nicolas Ghesquière.
"I’m sure they would be more than thrilled to create a gown for Penelope, it will be the most important dress of her life," added the source.
Cruz and Bardem continue to keep their lips locked about their romance.
