Celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton is jumping into the design game with both feet: designing shoes for charity in cooperation with online retailer ShoeDazzle.
As part of his new footwear line, Hilton has created two pairs of shoes: Sparkle steel-studded stiletto heels in black, and Shine shimmery silver high-top unisex sneakers. Both retail for $39.95 a pair with all proceeds going towards the Gay Lesbian & Straight Education Network.
"We are incredibly proud of both shoes! We think they’re classy yet fun! They will get attention but they’re not in your face," describes the website Coco Perez. "They are edgy yet wearable. And, most importantly, they look very expensive but aren’t!"
Each design also comes with a fashion and beauty tip. Pair Sparkle with a sexy leather mini-skirt for a night-time outfit, advises the retailer, and "winged eyeliner is a must." Shine, meanwhile, pairs best with acid wash, tapered jeans, according to the website, and "red luscious lips will look rad."
ShoeDazzle will also donate an additional $5 to GLSEN for each first-time shopper who enters the code ‘Perez’ at the checkout before November 15.
