Pete Doherty charged with drug possession again.

The Libertines rocker again charged with possession of cocaine.

Once again, British authorities have formally charged the rocker Pete Doherty for ‘Class A’ drug possession, according to music-news.com.

Doherty had been arrested in March, along with three others, in connection with the drug overdose of heiress Robin Whitehead, a 27-year-old filmmaker, in January at an East London flat.

At the time of her death, Whitehead had been making a documentary about Doherty. He has admitted to being at the young woman’s apartment on the day before and the day after her death, but on the night of her death, he was home in Wiltshire.

The 31-year-old musician was arrested on suspicion of supplying cocaine to Whitehead, but was quickly released on bail. This latest drug charge yesterday (September 28) could result in a prison sentence. He is due to appear in court on October 18.

Doherty has already faced 20 drug-related charges in the past and has been convicted six times for driving offences.
