Pete Doherty Helping Heroin Addicts

Pete Doherty is helping youth that are addicted to heroin in a new television show.

According to FemaleFirst, the singer of the group Babyshambles, who has been fighting his own drug addiction, will be visiting two rehabilitation centres in the United Kingdom.

Doherty will be supporting families in Manchester and working with a group of troubled youth at Manor Park in Sheffield using music therapy.

Pete really hopes to be able to use his own experiences to help these youths. Hopefully they will be inspired by his visit.

The help given by the 28-year-old singer will be filmed for the television show and broadcast in Britain later this year.
