The British rocker received a warning on Sunday (January 20), when he appeared at the Yeovil police station in the United Kingdom, to respond to allegations made by paparazzi Cath Mead, that Doherty attacked him last summer.
Last August, the Babyshambles singer followed Mead into a store, after the paparazzi photographed Doherty’s girlfriend, Irina Lazareanu. Mead had a few scrapes, but his camera was destroyed.
The police decided that Doherty did not need to serve a sentence, but did need a warning. They announced, "He was given a caution for the criminal damage to the camera."
