Following a stormy fight on Monday (October 22), Doherty and Lazareanu ended their relationship. Doherty, who recently completed a six-week detoxification program, said that he’s had enough of being followed around by the Romanian model.
A source told The Sun, "Irina has been following him around like a bad smell since the moment she caught his eye."
The source added, "She was always telling Pete what to do and where to go, and in the end he had to tell her it was over. Everyone’s happy she’s gone – it wasn’t doing anything for band relations."
The tortured singer also has confessed that he hopes to reconcile with his former girlfriend, model Kate Moss. Doherty and Moss split last June after Doherty had a fling with Lindi Hingston, a South African model.
