During an interview with E! News Tuesday (June 3), Wentz revealed that he is very excited about the idea of becoming a dad, reported People.
The Fall Out Boy member admits that he is generally a nervous person. However, Wentz stated that when he learned that his wife, Ashlee Simpson, was pregnant, his nervousness went away. He explained, "The first time I ever went to the doctor’s office and heard the (baby’s) heartbeat, I felt totally content and at peace with everything."
Wentz and Simpson were wed on May 17. After weeks of rumours that Simpson was expecting, the two finally confirmed the pregnancy on their FriendsOrEnemies.com Website last Thursday (May 29).
