Fans planning to purchase Peter Gabriel’s most recent concert DVD, Peter Gabriel: New Blood Live in London 3D, will have the opportunity to see the high definition 3D film on the big screen, reports Female First.

The former Genesis frontman has arranged for advanced screenings at theaters around the world, a month or so before the official DVD release.

Peter Gabriel: New Blood Live in London 3D was filmed at London’s iconic Hammersmith Apollo on March 23rd this year as he performed orchestral reinterpretations of many of his own songs – captured for the first time in 3D.

In North America, only selected U.S. theaters will be showing the film on September 7. Other countries screening the film from August through to November include Australia, Germany, Poland Russia South Africa, Spain, and the U.K. among others.

The show features a handful of the covers from Scratch My Back, but the majority of songs are taken from Gabriel’s solo career and given the orchestral treatment. The DVD tracklisting with the New Blood Orchestra includes such hits as Biko, Solsbury Hill, and In Your Eyes.

The concert DVD is scheduled for release on October 25.
