Peter Jackson Does the Movie The Lovely Bones

This director has done The Lord of the Rings, continuing with the next sequel in January 2006.  The Lovely Bones may be out in the fall 2007.

Based on the best-seller by author Alice Sebold, the movie tells the story of Susie Salmon who mysteriously disappeared in 1973, at the age of 14.  Raped and murdered, the young girl tells her story  as she observes this in heaven.  She discusses the reaction her family had to her death, and trying to make sense of this drama.
