Petit Bateau on board with Tsumori Chisato

The Petit Bateau brand launches a collection in collaboration with Tsumori Chisato.

Designer Tsumori Chisato is collaborating with Petit Bateau. She made the announcement last Saturday (March 6) during her fashion show.

Chisato and Petit Bateau will work together to create a collection of clothing for babies, children and adults coming out next winter.

They want to mix their styles together in this collection. One is more traditional and natural while the other is poetic and daring.

The collection will consist of 13 pieces, including scarves, dresses, bags, shirts, tights and other classics.

The new Petit Bateau collection in collaboration with Tsumori Chisato will be available on November 30 in all Petit Bateau stores and online at petit-bateau.com.

Petit Bateau is a French company that started out making children’s underwear in 1893. The story goes that Pierre Vallon cut the legs off a pair of men’s long johns in 1918. Voilà, underwear was invented.

Vallon heard his son singing a song about little boats and decided to name his company Petit Bateau. Today, the popular brand makes clothing for all ages.
