Phil Spector Found Guilty

Music producer Phil Spector was found guilty at his latest trial.

The 68-year-old musical legend was found guilty of second-degree murder in the wake of Lana Clarkson’s death, reports People.

The jury, including six men and women, reached its verdict yesterday (April 13) at the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Spector could face a sentence of 15 years to life in prison.

Clarkson, who was a 40-year-old actress, was killed by gunshot on Spector’s property in 2003. The defence tried to prove that Clarkson took her own life following a painful breakup.

The new trial began in October 2008.
